A mother seeks the whereabouts of her son's killer after he is released from prison, unleashing a series of events that surface tragic memories and unexpected consequences. Sky Box Sets ... Informer gives us an extremely sad ending for the Shar family, a bitter postscript that Noshirvani describes as “the sting in the tail of our story.” Ah.
It's not clever; it's stupid. I found little to fault in the first episode, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and look forward to future episodes.

Twisty and masterfully edited the presentation was astounding and full of great performances its only qualms is a bit of a pacing issue cramming a mass amount into only 6 episodes.

The last few years has seen some great deama series, from The Bridge to Broadchurch via Unforgotten, The Night Manager, River etc.
As per, the early episodes are excellent although the final may seem an anti-climax to some viewers - still a very unexpected hit.

Both the leads play their roles to perfection with the excellent support provided by the rest of the cast. The main challenge is keeping track, but it looks to be worth the effort Brilliant...Raza stole the show and put forward such an authentic display I looked forward to the next best line for him to deliver. But the final episode: the person that did it, I didn't feel the 'why' enough as I wanted to AND when the main character is told, they do the whole "filming the conversation through the window" thing. Loved this new series - great characters especially Raza
Nobody is better than the Brits when it comes to these shows (nobody, not even the French) and Informer has just set a new bar in the genre. London detectives investigate crimes from the past, unravelling secrets left buried for years.
