Unfortunately, it rained the evening of the penguin journey and because of lightning, the viewing had to be delayed because of safety concerns, but we were still able to view, for a short period, a few of the penguins make their way to their burrows. And the seating was prime location to where the penguins come out of the ocean. Phillip Island was wonderful - really enjoyed seeing the penguins and Mike C, our guide, gave us great tips for where to go to get the best views during the parade of the penguins. Melbourne. Yes it is a lot of ground to cover in a day but we felt we saw enough to be satisfied. Our guide was excellent and had perfect timing which allowed us to beat the crowds.If you don't have much time at hand and would still like to see it all, this trip is for you.
