We did see whales playing What a fabulous beach right in front of our condo in Kihei!This is a beach for walking, as the sand is soft and relatively free of smaller rocks intermingled in the sand. Love this beach.

The granite outcropping at the beach is over six metres long and wide, and about one metre high. I loved the fact that we didn't have to deal with rocks or seaweed. Much like putting together a jigsaw puzzle, crews used a 165-tonne crane to assemble the rock outcropping piece by piece on site. Whale watch from the beach...It is 3 miles long and nice views and also you can see the whales , depending on season.
