Some have bemoaned it having 'woke' qualities due to the diversity of the cast, but I noted it and embraced it. Unaware of the book storyline may have made it better since there is obviously no time spent picking holes in the screenplay but the feel good feeling that the film offers made both of us leave the cinema vowing to watch it again.
