That's subjective. It's about $21 to get up to the top of the John Hancock building and then an additional $7 for Tilt. It doesn't actually TILT down that far.
Then it stops for a few seconds before coming back up. The tilt is an enclosed moving platform that tilts you out over famed Michigan Avenue. I can see that it can be scary for people who are afraid of heights, but I love heights so it was nothing scary for me....if you're like me who have tried skydiving, bungee jumping from a bridge, helicopter ride, plane ride, etc etc, this will be really lame for you as it was for me. Chicago CityPASS. People walk away with smiles upon their face. I tilted a couple of years ago but just decided to review now!
Is it worth it? Located on the 94th floor of the John Hancock Building, the Tilt is basically window sized panels that, as the word says, tilt you over the Chicago landmark. It is with deepest regrets to share The Signature Room at the 95th and The Signature Lounge at the 96th will be closed until further notice. Purchase on the observation deck. This observation deck let's you lean right against the glass.Formerly called John Hancok building offers the breathtaking scenery, on lake Michigan as well as on CHIcago loop scenery. It’s the only place to enjoy TILT – Chicago’s highest thrill ride! So i guess it depends on how scared you are of heights.Sure it is a pretty brief experience, but gosh darn it, as I love heights, it was an awesome experience! We chose 360 because we wanted a snack and a cocktail while viewing the city. Sure it's a lot of money, but where else can you get an experience like this! Loved it though & I recommend it to everyone! since you're already up there.This was a great and really fun experience and isn't too pricey for an additional $7 but there were some things that were a really big bummer which is why I only gave it 2 stars.
If you like adventure, then you can visit open (balcony) area or try TILT (sloping windows with extra tickets). Discover what all the hype is about.
You are not allowed to have phones, cameras, bags, or any other loose objects while experiencing TILT. Sure, the experience of being tilted over 90+ floors was pretty amazing (and a little scary, actually), it wasn't as exciting as I imagined it to be. They have an option to lean outside the building at a 30 degree angle for $7.
