However, most of the time it takes hours to connect suddenly to the desktop pc. Had no problems for YEARS with my Win7 & previous PC platforms syncing with older Verizon Qualcomm Smartphone.Upgraded PC to Win 8.1 and CANNOT sync smartphone using ActiveSync. It's really nice to be able to use Microsoft Word and Exel on the Pocket PC and Desktop both and update with the Pocket PC or the Desktop and transfer between the two.It is a great program and very useful. In order to get it running now we need to modify the ActiveSync registry settings.
