I'm only writing in hopes that the upper management of Essex who I can't seem to get ahold of for any reason would reach out do something. I get it if it was an ocean front setting with state of the art appliances & Disney-like amenities, but it's far from that noting the previously mentioned issues as well. Thanks for the review, and please continue to enjoy what we have to offer! Since we have been here we had to deal with taking cold showers. Yes, this complex is on the pricey side. We were transparent about our concerns throughout and he was able to address them accordingly.

Alamitos Park, which includes a scenic view of Alamitos Bay and its yacht club and picnic tables, is just 10 minutes by car. The power being out when it was over 100 degrees. Currently the only place with all the amenities closed still I'm guessing to save money because all I see is people flocking out of here every day.

This is the first time we had ever had a cockroach problem living in Long Beach (so gross!). We loved our place and the location, definitely a great commuter location split between Los Angeles and Orange County.
