Tsubaki comments on how weird their relationship is, but Bossun tells him that that is their relationship.Shinzō visits Sket Dan and introduces an e-mail feature on his phone. Switch and the Sket Dan enter the tournament to win an app for Moe, a "3" lip. Due to their body exchange, they never been apart but Himeko feels lonely when Bossun (as Himeko) takes photo session with Himeko's friends. Sōjirō tells Bossun that he overlook one thing. And in the Trouble Travel arc where Himeko was captured, he noticed that everytime Himeko was in danger, he'd always lose his "cool" and went berserk though he did not yet realize anything at that time. When Himeko brings up Himiko Minakami's divination, Bossun witnesses Switch going off in a rant. When Bossun arrives a few minutes later, the two are shocked to see each other. After many e-mails sent between each other, the two begin wondering how does their pen pal friend look like and make an appointment to meet. Bossun taps into his concentration mode and recalls all the cards Sōjirō used.
Regardless of his shortcomings, Bossun is deeply analytical when facing problems and has no trouble thinking about plans. After a furious clash between the Sket Dance and the Student Council, Bossun and Sōjirō begin their match, Pixie Garden. Though Bossun is able to free themselves, Switch is knocked out and still unconscious and it's up to Bossun to rescue Himeko on his own. It was supposed to be Bossun and Tsubaki who exchange body but Himeko drank the wrong medicine causing her to exchange body with Bossun. Then, Bossun and Switch follow Himeko to see the At their way back home, Bossun tells Switch that they can only rely on Switch knowledge. Meanwhile, Himeko gets addicted to exchanging e-mails. Things get serious when her kidnappers turn out to be a gang who ambush Bossun and Switch and knock them unconscious before tying them up. After some observation Bossun sends a message to Switch's phone, asking if Switch is the website admin which Switch replies 'yes'. He then meets up with Bossun and Himeko to sign their club. Switch fires multiple times at Daisy until he scores one hit. Later in a less crowded place Saaya asks what does Bossun think about Himeko which shocked Himeko. Moments later, Himiko has gathered every detail of Bossun's past and his secret twin brother. A few days later, Switch comes to school and is warmly welcomed by everyone. After some time fighting, the trio worked together for the first time. Because he always communicates through speech synthesis software and has a tendency to joke with a straight face, it is difficult to tell what he is really thinking.At the end of the series, he is finally fully recovered. In the park square, Himeko arrives first with her blonde hair dyed black. Then, he tricks Daisy by using his laptop to sound off a gun shot which allows him to score another hit on Daisy. Three days later, while everyone gets settled at the seminar, Switch starts hammering his arguments about why Himiko's fortune telling is a scam. After some time arguing, the two finally realize that their e-mail friend is someone they already know well. Because of that, Bossun gloats that he still has a band, but later it is revealed that the 'Sket Bomber's' drum-mist got injured so it also disbanded.
When he returned to school, Kazuyoshi wanted people to call him "Switch" - his brother's old nickname, and after a while he stopped attending upon thinking how pointless his routine had become.
